In person ! Led by our minister, Rev Garry Steel. Garry says: "It’s Week 2 of Advent & in our services this weekend we’re going to be exploring the HOPE that we have in Jesus! I do hope you’ll be able to join us." Just a little reminder that now the lockdown has ended we are opening under the restrictions for Tier 2 (which Northamptonshire is in). This means that, like before, you will only be able to sit with those people in your household and there can’t be any mixing of households whilst we are indoors. When we are outside, the ‘rule of 6’ applies. As always, there will be wonderful people ready to welcome you on Sunday morning and to answer any questions you may have." Come warmly wrapped up, as although the heating will be on, the doors will also be open.

Our Christmas Offering this year will support the important work of CAP (Christians Against Poverty). Scroll down to see details about CAP and how to make any offering you want to give. Christians Against Poverty This Christmas we will be supporting the work of CAP. CAP work in partnership with churches to release people from poverty, through debt counselling, community groups and courses. In March 2021, a group of people from Desborough Baptist and St. Giles will be trained to deliver the CAP Money Course in Desborough and we pray that, as churches together, we may be able to draw alongside and support many people locally. This link introduces the Money Course. Find your local course | Christians Against Poverty (capuk.org) If you’d like to give to support CAP this Christmas, you can: • Give in person at the Christmas Day service. Please pop your offering in an envelope marked ‘CAP’. • Send a cheque to our Treasurer, Andrew Skinner, made payable to the church but with clear instructions that the money is for CAP.

As usual with our services at thgis time, there ill be a service on the Church website, nominally from 10:00 am. On the church website homepage, click on "Service recordings and Links" at the top. Then click on "Services" at the right of the webpage. Scroll down until you find the service for today. Click on the play arrow and listen (and join with us) via your phone or computer. Download the hymns in advance (so you can follow or join in) by clicking on Song Words.pdf just above the service, on the webpage. It is hoped as many church members as possible will listen in and join together in this virtual service at our normal time of 10:00 a.m. (if you can't manage 10:00 a.m., the recording will remain on the website so you can listen at any convenient time).
