Continental Breakfast. Come and join in a time of fellowship with ladies from the other churches in Desborough. Hot drinks will be served from 08:20. The "Thought for the Day" will be brought by Mary Garbutt, who was a Curate at St Giles some years ago. Her talk is entitled "I was married to a Jehovah's Witness". If you are coming please sign up on the notice board in the meeting room, or book your place by calling at Revive or else contact Pauline.

Please ensure an age-gender sticker (from the leaflets in the Meeting room) is on your box, together with your delivery donation. Empty boxes for you to fill should be available in the meeting room, or you can use an ordinary shoebox and fill it. Please be careful to note what is not allowed - on the Shoebox leaflet.

Service will last about 40 minutes. We will then join with other people at Desborough War Memorial at 10:45 for a time of Remembrance. Those not wanting to walk to the war memorial will be remaining behind for the 2 minute silence at 11:00 in our church. Refreshments will be served in the meeting room, as normal after the service.

This IS BIG. The same Quiz will be taking place simultaneously at hundreds of churches all over the country. Don't miss out - be part of it ! It 's welcoming and non-threatening- it's just a quiz (but very well organised - last year's was great, and great fun) so invite your friends and neighbours, and get your teams (4-8 people) together. Cost: £3.00 per person (proceeds to Tear Fund's global relief and support work). Enter your name, team numbers and your choice of team name onto the the list at Church. Monthly Prayer meeting, every 4th Wednesday. Mainly focused around fulfilling our church mission statement. There is absolutely no pressure to pray aloud - all are welcome, especially those who just want to join silently in fellowship. Nominally this will last half-an-hour (and you can always slip away then!), but may last longer if those present want it to.
